I received the Data Acquisition board on Friday and built the wiring harness from the adapter to the ECU harness that evening. I spent the day yesterday splicing into the ECU harness and writing all the code for the few sensors that I had time to build for. Here are two screen shots: the first is at idle and the second is WOT at around 6500RPM. Engine At Idle
 Engine is WOT @ 6500RPM.
You can see obvious differences in the detonation sensor output and on some occasion, I have noticed very steep spikes which represent detonation on a specific cylinder. The sampling rate is set to 65,000 samples per second, so each one of the pulses you see on the detonation sensor is each cylinder stroking -intake, compression, combustion, exhaust, 3 times per revolution. I will be working to modify the unit for temperature(rather than a pure voltage signal; which doesnt give much other than a visual scale and employing another two sensors for vehicle speed and RPM today. The pressure sensor and temp sensor for the manifold will be here this wed. Those too will be implemented and part of the program construct. Output controls for air/fuel ratio adjustment and timing adjustment are just a few steps away. When the other two sensors get here, I will write the code for them as well as begin the integration of the wastegate (boost control) code. Will have more pics up soon of the wiring harness, connector block and the adapter itself. Dark Side, Here I come!
